ISO 9001

ER-LAC produces products that have specific manufacturing requirements and therefore increased quality requirements. For this reason, the company applies for more than 20 years a Quality Management System according to the requirements of the International Quality Standard ISO 9001 covering all activities from research and development, production to distribution of products.

 

Environmental Management System

ISO 14001

ER-LAC adopts practices of sustainable development, reduction of natural resources, energy saving, recycling materials, raising awareness among workers and the public. Our company in order to implements systematically the commitments related to its environmental policy, has adopted one integrated environmental management system according to European Regulation 2009/1221 / EC (EMAS) as well as with the international standard EN ISO 14001.

 

Collection and Recycling of used Packages

ER-LAC, in accordance with article 12 of Law 2939 / 6.08.2001, has entered into a cooperation agreement with the Hellenic Recovery Recycling Corporation, for the collection and recycling of used packages.

 

Community Ecological Management and Ecological Audit Scheme – EMAS

With the dep. 16010/551 / 29-30-12 decision of the Greek Ministry of Environment, ER-LAC has been certified in the Community Ecological Management and Ecological Audit Scheme, in accordance with Regulation (EC) No 1221/2009 of the European Parliament

Our company is committed to delivering high quality products that meet the expectations of the most demanding user and contribute to sustainable development. With the «Water is green» program we develop water-based products with the same or better properties of the traditional solvent based products.

The future is research and ER-LAC is always a pioneer. Within the operational program EPANEK 2014-2020 Competitiveness – Business – Innovation ER-LAC collaborates with Higher Education Institutions and Research Centers to create innovative high technology products.

EU Ecolabel

We are constantly developing new ecological products that have been certified by the ECO-LABEL Approval Council, meet all the relevant European Union criteria and bear the eco-label sign on the label.

Indoor Air Quality

Products with this marking are certified by Eurofins, the international accredited control laboratory for Volatile Organic Compounds, and are classified in the upper class A + in terms of indoor air quality.
Washing Resistance
ΕΝ 13300 & EN ISO 11998

The products with the corresponding label are certified by accredited laboratories for their resistance to washing and cleaning according to EN 13300 and EN ISO 11998.

 

IMSL

Antimicrobial properties

ER-LAC certifies its products in independently accredited laboratories. Products with this label are certified for their antimicrobial properties.
Cool Paint

Cool paints have increased values of reflection in solar radiation and high values of infrared emission factor. They isolate the surface and reduce its temperature thus offer significant energy savings for cooling during the summer and heating during the winter. They contribute to the mitigation of the urban heat island (UHI) effect and improve the microclimate of cities.

 

LEED

Green Building Evaluation System

LEED (Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design) is the most widely used green building rating system in the world. Available for almost all types of buildings, LEED provides a framework for green buildings that are healthy, highly efficient and cost effective. At ER-LAC we have certified our products for use in green buildings based on the latest version LEED v4.1.

 

UV filters

Products that contain UV protection filters

Products with this label contain special UV filters that provide complete protection against UV radiation and offer a longer shelf life in the final paint.

 

NANOTECH

Nanotechnology product

Nanotechnology products contain elements in the NANO scale. The incorporation of nanotechnology elements into surface protection can provide increased adhesion, elasticity, penetration, hardness, hydrophobicity or hydrophilicity. Innovative nanotechnology products can have pioneering properties such as self-healing and photocatalysis.

Safety of toys

EN 71-3:2019 + A1:2021 

The paints and varnishes, certified with the Toy Safety, European Standard EN 71-3: 2019 + A1: 2021 can be used on children’s toys and furniture, as they have been evaluated for the non-migration of heavy metals.
